Performing Arts Students Without the Resources Needed to Follow Their Dreams

Tana had a passion for the arts, as we all do, as members of the Tana Quigley We Dance Foundation.  We, on the board, met each other because of our devotion to the art community and have been lovingly connected to Tana and each other for decades.  Our beautiful Tana was a dance teacher and performer who inspired people through her unique ability to make connections and bring out the most injured and beautiful pieces of herself and everyone she worked with.  She advocated for all things in the performing arts world and this is where we draw our own inspiration to keep her spirit alive in the community she loved most.

The  Quigley We Dance Foundation makes generous donations to the “Follow Your Dreams Scholarship” at the Maywood Dance Center each year in June, as well as sponsoring carefully selected students by paying their tuition and providing dance supplies.  The recipients are identified each year to be experiencing barriers to accessing the resources needed to follow their dreams as well as demonstrating a great dedication and love of dance.
