Survivors of Domestic Violence

Tana stood as a pillar of morality in her community, assisting those in need through her selfless social work. In her honor, the Foundation continues her steadfast resolve to support affected women and families in local communities.  In cooperation with local Domestic Violence shelters, the Foundation hosts fundraisers to provide targeted donations to our sisters, brothers, and children facing violence in their homes.

The Tana Quigley We Dance Foundation made generous cash and tangible goods assistance to local domestic violence shelters and the New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence. Donations include pack-and-plays, towels, bedding, large appliances, kitchen items including dishes, silverware, glasses, small appliances, storage containers, bakeware, and over $3200 in grocery gift cards. The Foundation will build on this success in the coming years by continuing our relationship with these shelters and targeting fundraisers to meet their needs.

  • Your $25 donation will provide a set of sheets, a pillow, and a blanket for a bed in a shelter
  • Your $50 donation will provide a small kitchen appliance for the shared area in a shelter
  • Your $100 donation will provide a pack and play which serves as an infant’s sleeping area while at the shelter
  • Your $1000 donation will provide a large kitchen appliance in the shared area in a shelter
  • Your $5000 donation will renovate two rooms, turning them into a suite to keep families together while adhering to state requirements for a maximum number of people per room, or will provide renovations to make wheelchair-accessible rooms.
